HOW TO FILE YOUR INCOME TAX RETURN

The Income Tax Return can be filed in three ways:
1. Manually
2. Electronically

The Income Tax Return can be filed manually by any assesse except assesse who are required to get their accounts audited under Income Tax Act, 1961. To file your return manually you can get the relevant forms from:

1. Income Tax Website

2. Income Tax Department

2. ELECTRONICALLY

Below are the steps to file your return electronically

1. To E-File your return please visit the Income Tax Department website:

https://incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in/

2. Download the relevant schema from the Income Tax Website

3. Create your return

4. Generate XML file

5. Register yourself with the department
