HOW TO GET CERTIFIED COPIES OF SOCIETY BY-LAWS

QUESTION:

I have a specific query as I want to know where society were registered in 1955-56 in Uttar Padesh.

I am from Agra and want to know if they were registered in Agra or Lucknow at that time.

 

Case: My father was a member of one society but the other office bearers has now made the society the personal issues.

We need bye laws of the society so that we can initiate court legal process. If you can help in this regard, we would be thankful to you.

Hi Rajeev Chaudhary,
You can get a certified copy of the Memorandum and By-laws from the Registrar office . Go to the office of registrar and file an application for Inspection of the documents under section 19 of Societies Registration Act, 1860 and pay the required fees. From the memorandum you will get the idea from where the society was registered.
